102We believe we have one of the friendliest and most beautiful regions in the country, but for people taking that huge step of moving countries to live and work somewhere new, there are so many things you need to know to assist you to settle into the community.

Hamilton city, New Zealand’s 4th largest urban city is one of the fastest growing regions in New Zealand, with beautiful natural scenery and great lifestyle opportunities. We have a vibrant and diverse community with art and culture, lots of parks and reserves, farmland, orchards, and have the Waikato River scenic walks and cycle paths to enjoy.

This is home to one of the best agricultural dairy sector in the world; with a region leaning toward specialised manufacturing. The region excels include the digital, innovation, agbio, equine and aviation fields.

The rural areas within the Waikato region contain many horticultural and farming industries and several smaller towns which support these industries. Head out to Raglan on the west coast -world known surfing beaches in about 40 minutes, enjoy antiques and history in towns like Cambridge, Tirau, Thames or Paeroa.
